In 1993 the school was growing by leaps and bounds. At that time the Rinn Church was embarking on a huge addition and remodeling project on their building. The school's Board of Directors began to look for a new location for the school. On December 1, 1993, the ground was broken for the new location for the Children's House of Weld County. Just one mile south of the Rinn Church location, the Board of Directors felt that it was an appropriate location to be able to serve the same families. Front Range Alternatives, Inc. custom-built the new building on 1.5 acres at 3801 Weld County Road 18 in Erie, Colorado. The new location has two classrooms, six bathrooms, a full kitchen, an office, a playground area, a bike trail, and a baseball diamond. The school is licensed through the Colorado Department of Human Services to serve 70 children. The Children's House of Weld County, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation with a 501-C-3 tax exempt status. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, sex, color, or national origin. |
