The Children's House of Weld County is a Montessori school. We have programs for preschool, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, as well as day care and summer camp. We serve children ages 2½ to 6.

One of the advantages of our school is that our school is open more days per year than other schools.

Children's House was honored with the 2009 Hoffman Award. This award is given to a community member and/or business who has given back to the community, has upstanding business ethics, and offers an important service to the community. This prestigious award is presented annually by the Carbon Vally Chamber of Commerce. Our school received the award to our 30 years of offering a quality service to the Tri-Town area for its youth and families.

Norah Shaw
Classroom Assistant and Substitute Teacher

Norah has worked at the school since 2006. She assists in the afternoon activity time and also helps with substitution when needed. In addition to her job at the school, she aids her younger sister, who is wheelchair-bound.
